Eden is building instantly deployable robots-as-a-service for warehouses and factories. Industrial robotics has historically been difficult to deploy. Customers often need to buy expensive hardware upfront, hire onsite engineers, spend weeks integrating systems, and redesign workflows around robots before seeing value. This has made automation too slow, too expensive, and too rigid for many real-world operations. Today we're launching Eden-1, an industrial semi-humanoid robot for warehouse and factory work, and Theta a new shared-autonomy robotics foundation model. Eden-1 can be immediately deployed into industrial environments without onsite engineers, long integration cycles, or upfront robot purchases. Customers get robot employees and pay them by the hour. Our goal is to reimagine services in the upcoming age of autonomy. In 1.5 months we designed and built our own hardware, model and deployment infrastructure all tightly integrated to achieve one thing...a delightful customer experience.
